Oh jeez.... I'm behind again

Story of my life always a little behind....
Post op Day 9
9 days post op!! We have almost made it to magic day number 10 when Landon can have his bottle back and his paci and his hands!!! This day he has been the gumpiest that he has been since he was born I think  he knows how close to getting life back to normal it is!! I was so tempted to give him his bottle but his lip is healing so well that I didn't want to chance it by giving him his bottle!
My silly boy!!

His lip looks so good!!! I can't even believe it!

Post op Day 10
WE MADE IT!!!!! We made it to day 10 and we didn't cheat!!!! Landon took his bottle like we hadn't fed him in a week!!! We did feed him, just not with his bottle and that is what he really wanted!!!
He is just so happy for life to be back to his normal!!

He loves sleeping on his tummy on my chest! And now he can again!!!

First Day back at work and Landon's first day of day care
So I went back to work. I hated having to leave him but all in all I had a good first day back at work with 2 patients the whole day (which my nurse friends know that is a good day!). When I went to say goodbye to Landon in the morning I bent over his crib and told him that I loved him and I was going to miss him but he was going to have a good day at daycare and I gave him a kiss and I looked at him and he was just smiling very big! So I took that a sign that I was going to have a good day also and I did. Brandon took him to day care and his Aunt TayTay was there to check on him all day and pick him up for me!
Brandon was so awesome to bring Landon by my work on his way (and by on his way I mean completely on the other side of town) to daycare.

Things that have happened since I went back to work 3 weeks ago lol:

My uncle Allen and cousin Jace came to visit Landon (ok the whole family but... you know).
Landon just loves Jacers!!

My Aunt Latonya and Uncle Rob came to see us also!

We went to cleft clinic last Friday. Cleft clinic is where we go to a doctors office and wait in a room and several different people come to see us. We saw a speech pathologist, the hearing people, a dentist/orthodonist, and Dr. Demke who is our plastic surgeon and ENT. The speech pathologist said that Landon was sucking on his bottle very well and eating just the right amount and he was talking and making all the right noises!! Then Landon got a hearing screeen and he PASSED!! WooHoo!! Then the dentist/orthodontist came in (this is who we really wanted to see). Landon has a notch on his gum on his left side where his cleft is so we had been wondering what that was all about. The dentist said that it was really not a big deal at all, it might have a crooked baby tooth there and the adult tooth might be straight or the adult tooth might be crooked also or they both might be straight but nothing that having braces as he gets older won't fix. Then we saw Dr. Demke and he said that Landon's lip was looking good and he didn't have to wear the steristip any more!!!! YAY!!!! So we had a great report!!!!
Landon had a great time at cleft clinic! He just smiled and played and laughed the whole time!!
Landon is trying to roll over for reals now and he is sitting up in his bopy and we are working on him sitting up on his own!!! He just talks and babbles to us and it is the best sound in the world!! He loves smiling too!!

Also I am so excited!!! I am going to be Matron of Honor at Cammy and Matt's wedding!!!!!! I am so freaking excited!!!!!! And Landon is excited too!!!
